Description

Wolf bones are an item in RuneScape 3. They drop when you kill a wolf or a werewolf. Burying a set of wolf bones gives 4.5 Prayer experience, the same as regular bones. You can gain more experience by using them on a gilded altar in a player-owned house.

Wolf bones are best known for Summoning. They are needed to craft Spirit wolf pouches at level 1 Summoning and Wolpertinger pouches at level 92 Summoning. This demand makes them worth more than regular bones, since fewer of them enter the game.

Members can also use a chisel on wolf bones to make wolf bone arrowheads. Each set of bones gives 4 arrowheads and 15 Crafting experience. The arrowheads tip ogre arrows and give 2.5 Fletching experience each. Four wolf bones are needed for the quest As a First Resort.

Wolf bones are tradeable and noteable, and each set weighs 0.5 kg. They can be disassembled into Organic parts, with a rare chance of Pious components. They can also be turned into wolf bonemeal. Wolf bones are a smart pick for players training Summoning, Prayer, or Fletching in RS3.
