Description

The XP Capacitor 5000 (charged) is a members item in RuneScape 3 used with the Invention skill. It is a device that holds stored item experience as charges. This charged version is full with 100,000 charges and is ready to use.

When you activate a charged capacitor, it starts to siphon. While it works, your augmented items gain 100% extra item experience. One charge equals one item experience point. This makes it a fast way to level up your augmented gear. Items that have already reached the max item experience of 1,000,000 will not use up charges.

One capacitor can push about 7 items to equipment level 9, about 5 items to level 10, or fewer than 2.5 items to level 12. Five capacitors can train one item all the way to level 20.

The capacitor is only tradeable while it is fully charged. Once you use any charges, it becomes untradeable. When all charges are gone, it is destroyed. Making one yourself needs level 106 Invention, level 80 Crafting, and rare components, so buying a charged one skips all that work.
