Description

Yellow dye is a small bottle of dye in RuneScape 3. Players use it to dye capes yellow. It can also dye a small rune pouch or a large rune pouch yellow.

Yellow dye is needed for many quests. These include Goblin Diplomacy, Ghosts Ahoy, Enlightened Journey, Eagles' Peak, Land of the Goblins, and Mourning's End Part I. If you plan to do these quests, this dye saves you time.

You can mix yellow dye with other dyes to make new colors. Yellow dye plus red dye makes orange dye. Yellow dye plus blue dye makes green dye. These mixed colors cannot be made any other way.

In the game, yellow dye is made by bringing 2 onions and 5 coins to a dyer like Aggie. It can also be bought from the Lletya Seamstress for 6 coins, but that shop needs quest progress to enter. Buying the dye directly skips all of that work.

Yellow dye is tradeable and weighs only 0.02 kg. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. It has been part of the game since 28 February 2001.
