The Big Firefly is a Mythic pet in Grow a Garden 2. The Firefly was added to the game on July 12, 2026. It is rare, with only a 0.6% chance to spawn anywhere on the map.

The Firefly flies around and makes newly planted crops bigger. A normal Firefly gives a 2% plant size bonus. The Big mutation doubles that bonus, so a Big Firefly gives a 4% plant size bonus. The effect works for everyone on the server, and it stacks with other equipped Fireflies. The total size bonus is capped at 50%.

Bigger plants sell for more Sheckles. This makes the Big Firefly a strong pick for players who farm single-harvest crops like Mushrooms. It also helps with high-value crops like Starfruit. Many players stack Fireflies across a server to reach the 50% cap and grow the largest crops possible.
