The Big Raccoon is a Super tier pet in Grow a Garden 2. It has a studded texture, black feet, a gray body, and a dark look overall. It is ranked S-tier and is seen as one of the best pets in the game.

The Big Raccoon sneaks out at night to steal fruit from unlocked gardens. It has an 85% chance every 5 to 10 seconds to sneak out and steal. Stealing takes 3 seconds, then the pet rests for 10 seconds. If it finds no fruit, it waits 3 seconds and checks again. A player can stop the steal by hitting the Raccoon with a shovel to shoo it away.

The Big size makes this pet stronger. A normal Raccoon raises your steal limit by +25, but the Big Raccoon raises it by +50. That means more fruit for your garden each night.

This pet is very rare. It has only a 0.24% chance to spawn on the map and costs 15,000,000 Sheckles in-game. It cannot come from an Egg. The Raccoon was added to the game on June 12, 2026.
