Description
The Rainbow Firefly is a Mythic pet in Grow a Garden 2. It was added to the game on July 12, 2026. It flies around your garden and makes newly planted crops grow bigger. Its effect works for everyone on the server, not just you.
The standard Firefly gives a +2% plant size bonus while equipped. The Rainbow mutation multiplies that bonus by 1.25. That means each equipped Rainbow Firefly gives a +2.5% plant size bonus. The bonus stacks, so you can equip more than one Firefly for a bigger boost. The total size bonus is capped at +50%.
This is a passive pet. Once it is equipped, it does its job with no extra work from you. Keep in mind that the size bonus only applies while a plant is still growing, not after harvest.
The Firefly is rare in the wild. It has only a 0.6% chance to spawn anywhere on the map, and it costs 3,000,000 Sheckles when it appears. A Rainbow Firefly is a strong pick for players who want bigger plants and higher value crops without any active management.
