Description
The Amethyst Beetle is a Legendary pet in the Roblox game Grow a Garden. It was added on November 15, 2025 as a limited-time pet. It is purple and covered in gems. It hatches from the Gem Egg, which holds seven pets in total.
This pet has a passive ability called Beetle Duel. It starts a battle with another player's beetle. If your beetle wins, you get a reward. Rewards can include Beetle Juice, Harvest Tools, a Grandmaster Sprinkler, a Beetle Lollipop, a Reclaimer, a Beetle Chew, a Silver Beetle Statue, or a Golden Beetle Statue.
Level and weight matter in duels. A higher level and heavier beetle is more likely to win. If no other players on the server own a beetle, the ability stays inactive.
The Amethyst Beetle shares the Beetle Duel ability with the Stag Beetle and the Pine Beetle. It is one of only three pets in the game that can interact with other players' pets this way. The Mimic Octopus pet can copy the Amethyst Beetle. Its weight is also a key trait that traders look at.
