The Blood Owl is a pet in Grow a Garden. It first appeared during the Blood Moon Event on May 17th. It looks like a brown owl with glowing red eyes and a red aura that follows it around the garden.
This pet is hard to get. It only shows up during blood moon events, and it shares shop stock with two other pets, the Blood Hedgehog and the Blood Kiwi. The Blood Owl is the rarest of the three and is often out of stock. It is also the most expensive pet in the blood moon shop.
The Blood Owl has a strong ability. For every pet equipped in the garden, each pet gains 0.5 XP per second. This makes all pets level up fast. High level pets can be traded to Raphael at the pet shop. Trading pets unlocks extra pet equip slots and extra egg hatching slots, so more pets can work in the garden at once.
The Blood Owl is a valuable trade pet. It can also appear with mutations such as Nightmare, Golden, Frozen, and Shiny.
