The Ghostly Scarab is an uncommon pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on October 25, 2025, during the third part of the Halloween Event. It looks like a small, dark brown beetle with a blocky body, six short legs, and small front pincers.

Its trait is called Spooky Scarab. It makes Spooky type plants grow bigger. Plants within 32 to 60 studs get 0.32x to 0.64x increased growth size. The pet gets stronger as it gains weight. Each kilogram adds 0.25 studs of range and 0.03x to the growth boost, up to the caps. It starts at 1 kg at Age 1 and can reach 12.27 kg at Age 125. Its hunger is 2,000.

The Ghostly Scarab came from the Spooky Chest and the Exotic Spooky Chest, each with a 34.5% chance. It can no longer be obtained in the game, so it is a rare find. It is also one of the three pets needed to summon the Lich pet with the Lich Crystal, along with the Bat and the Crow. This makes it a key pet for players who want the Lich.
