The Huge Cockatrice is a Divine pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It was added during the Fairy Event and hatches from the Enchanted Egg with only a 1% chance. This makes it one of the rarest pets in the game.
The Cockatrice looks like a brown rooster with green dragon wings, a green underbelly, and a spiked dragon tail. It is based on the mythical cockatrice, a wyvern with a rooster head.
This pet has two strong abilities. Silver Screech makes it screech every so often. Fruits within 20 to 40 studs then have a 20 to 40% chance to turn Silver and a 1 to 3% chance to turn Gold. Both mutations raise fruit value by a lot. Venom Spit hits 5 to 10 fruits, eggs, or pets. Fruits get the Toxic mutation, eggs move ahead by 80 to 150 seconds, and pets gain 800 to 1500 XP.
As the Cockatrice levels up, its abilities trigger faster and reach farther. It is one of only a few pets that can apply growth mutations to plants and speed up eggs, so it is a top pick for any garden.
