The Huge Kappa is a Mythical pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on July 19, 2025 as part of the Zen Update. It comes from the Zen Egg with a 3.5% hatch chance, and it is one of only six pets found in that egg. This makes it a rare and exclusive pet.
The Kappa has a green body, a yellow beak, and brown-black hair. It wears a turtle shell on its back. It is based on a creature from Japanese folklore that lives near rivers and ponds.
Its passive ability is called Water Spirit. The Kappa sprays water on all nearby fruits, giving them the Wet mutation. It also has a chance to turn a Wet mutation that is already on a fruit into the Bloodlit mutation. This makes it a strong pick for players who want more fruit mutations in their garden.
The Kappa has a hunger stat of 40,000. Note that after November 29, 2025, this pet became trade locked, so it cannot be traded with a Trading Ticket. Add the Huge Kappa to your garden and let it boost your fruits.
