The Huge Monitor Lizard is a limited mythical pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on May 23, 2026, during the third part of the Bizzy Bee Event 2026. Players could earn it by reaching Level 40 in the Season 5 Season Pass. It cannot be earned in the game anymore, which makes it a rare pet to own.
The Monitor Lizard has a passive trait called Solitary Monitor. If it is the only Monitor Lizard in your garden, it will sometimes eat a mutated fruit. Each mutation on that fruit boosts pet cooldowns every second and speeds up plant growth every second. This means one pet can help your whole garden at the same time.
The key rule is simple. Keep only one Monitor Lizard in your garden so the ability works right. Feed it mutated fruit and let the boosts stack. Many players use it as the core of a pet leveling setup, since faster cooldowns and faster plant growth help level other pets.
