The Huge Orangutan is a rare pet in Grow a Garden. It came out in the Summer Update on June 21, 2025. It hatches from the Rare Summer Egg with a 15% chance. That makes it the second rarest pet in that egg. The other pets in the egg are the Flamingo, Toucan, Sea Turtle, and Seal.

This pet has burnt orange fur with a subtle orange back. Its face, ears, and paws are ashy gray. It has big strong arms and moves slowly, crawling around the garden on its hands. It weighs 2.01 kg in the game.

The Orangutan has a passive ability called Helping Hands. When you craft at the crafting table in the Cosmetics Shop, each material has a chance to not be used up. This works for both gear recipes and seed recipes. For example, when crafting reclaimer gear, the common egg could be returned to you after the craft. The ability can grow to a limit of 7% per material.
