The Huge Pterodactyl is a pet in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It came from the Dinosaur Egg during the Prehistoric Update, which started on July 5, 2025. It had a 3% hatch chance, making it one of the rarest pets from that egg. The update has ended, so this pet can no longer be obtained in-game.
The Pterodactyl has a blue body with a yellow sting, a light-blue beak, and light blue legs. It has two strong passive abilities. Its Sky Reptile ability sometimes applies the Windstruck mutation to about 4 nearby fruits. It also has a chance greater than 19.06% of adding the Twisted mutation. If a fruit gets both Windstruck and Twisted, it gains the Tempestuous mutation, which gives a 19x value bonus.
Its Air Time ability boosts jump height by more than 14.39%. This makes it easier to collect crops from tall trees. The pet has a hunger stat of 40,000. Players who want rare mutations and higher crop value will get real use out of this pet, since it can turn normal fruits into much more valuable ones.
