The Huge Rainbow Chinchilla is a Divine tier pet in Grow a Garden. It came out on October 4, 2025 as part of the Chubby Chipmunk Event. It is a blocky rodent with gray fur, a lighter gray belly, whiskers, a black nose and eyes, and gray ears on the sides of its head.
Its ability is called Dust Bath. The Chinchilla walks over to another pet and rolls around in dust. This makes that pet use its own ability 3 to 6 times in a row. That is why players want this pet. It can boost the power of the best pets in a garden.
Dust Bath cannot be copied or refreshed by another pet. It also does not work on some pets. These include the French Fry Ferret, Green Bean, Red Panda, Elephant, and Mimic Octopus. It cannot target pets with cooldown boosting abilities either. The Chinchilla has a hunger of 50,000 and its passive cooldown does not go up as it ages.
The Chinchilla came from the Nutty Chest, the Exotic Nutty Chest, and the Rainbow Sack. It is no longer obtainable in game, which makes it a rare pet to own.
