The Huge Scarab is a limited, uncommon pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on October 25, 2025, in the third part of the Halloween Event. It came from the Spooky Chest or the Exotic Spooky Chest, each with a 34.5% chance. It can no longer be obtained in the game, so trading is the way to get one now.
The Scarab is a small, dark brown beetle with a blocky look. It has six short legs, a square body, and small front pincers. Its trait is called Spooky Scarab. Spooky type plants within 32 to 60 studs grow 0.32 to 0.64 times bigger in size. This makes it a helpful pet for players who grow spooky plants.
The Scarab weighs 1 kg at Age 1 and can reach 12.27 kg at Age 125. It has a hunger stat of 2,000. It is also one of three pets needed to summon the Lich pet with the Lich Crystal. The other two pets are the Bat and the Crow. Players who want the Lich will need a Scarab to complete the set.
