Description
The Huge Termite is a Common rarity pet from the Grow a Garden Smithing Event. It came to the game through the Treasure Digging minigame, where it has a 7.22% chance of being the featured reward. Treasure Digging is found in the in-game shop, and digs can be done once every hour. Digs restore over time and can stack up to 10 at once. The Termite can also come from the Gem Egg during the Smithing Event update.
The Termite has a passive ability called Level Eater. Every so often, it eats from a random pet on the farm and lowers that pet's age, or level, by one. It only lowers a level by one at a time, and pets that boost abilities do not change this passive.
This makes the Termite handy in a few special cases. It can help finish missions that need a pet to be at a certain level. It also works well with the Hydra pet. The Termite can lower the Hydra's level so its ability keeps triggering with each level gain, even after the Hydra hits the level cap.
