Description

The Kodama is a legendary pet in Grow a Garden. It was added on July 26, 2025 as part of the Corrupted Zen Event. This pet is based on a Japanese Yokai spirit of the same name. It has a humanoid shape with misaligned eyes, a skull-like mask, and brown wood-like horns. It also wears a dark garment with a gray swirl design.

The Kodama has a passive trait called Tree Spirit. This trait gives about a 5% chance for a Zen type fruit to get the Tranquil mutation after it is collected. This makes the Kodama a strong pick for players who want to grind event bonuses during the Corrupted Zen Event. The pet has a hunger stat of 22,000.

In the game, the Kodama comes from the Kitsune Chest with a 14.5% chance, the Exotic Kitsune Chest with a 14.5% chance, or the Rainbow Sack with a 15% chance. It is also one of only two pets in the game with a Corrupted version. The other is the Kitsune. Players who collect rare event pets will want the Kodama in their lineup.
