The Rainbow New Year's Chimp is a mythical pet from the New Year's Event in Grow a Garden on Roblox. It is a limited pet. It looks like a chimpanzee with gold "2026" glasses and a black party hat with yellow strands.
This pet has a passive trait called Primate Productivity. Every few minutes, the chimp grabs a random fruit from your garden. It does not take favorited plants. Then it gives you one of four random bonuses. It can give 2000 XP to a random pet. It can cut an egg's hatch time by 200 seconds. It can give you a small bundle of Event Lanterns or Recall Wrenches. It can also try to apply the Clockwork mutation to a fruit, but this part is bugged right now and may fail with an error message.
The New Year's Chimp normally hatches from the New Year's Egg or the Premium New Year's Egg, each with only a 15% chance. That makes it a rare pet to pull on your own. It has 40,000 hunger. This is a fun helper pet that turns spare fruit into XP, faster eggs, and useful items.
