The Adamant hasta is a one-handed melee weapon in Old School RuneScape. It looks and works much like a spear, but it has one big edge. You can hold a shield with it. That gives you more defence than a normal spear. It needs 30 Attack and Barbarian Training in Smithing to wield.

This hasta hits at a fast speed of 4 ticks, or 2.4 seconds per swing. It gives +24 to stab, slash, and crush attack, plus a +28 strength bonus. It has four combat styles. Lunge, Swipe, and Pound train Attack, Strength, and Defence at the same time. Block trains Defence. You can also poison the hasta for extra damage.

Players can smith this weapon at a Barbarian anvil with 75 Smithing. It takes one adamantite bar and one yew log. Each hasta made gives 125 Smithing experience. It also drops from Brutal blue dragons, which are combat level 271.
