Description

Adamant seeds are magical seeds in Old School RuneScape. They come in an adamant case and can be planted almost anywhere to grow flowers. When picked, the flowers come in one of nine colors. The seeds drop as loot from zombie pirates and Zombie Pirate's Lockers.

These seeds are a big deal in Wilderness PvP. When a player plants one, they move one tile to the east if the way is clear. If not, the flowers try to move the player west, then south, then north. This lets a frozen player still move one tile. Mithril seeds move a player the opposite way. Using both types lets skilled players outplay opponents who try to log out by standing on their tile.

While in combat, fresh flowers cannot be picked. The first option becomes "appreciate," which makes the player bow while the flowers stay on the ground. Planted flowers also block Hunter traps and fires from being set on the same tile.

Adamant seeds are stackable, tradeable, and weigh nothing. They trade on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 18,000 per 4 hours. The item was released on 10 April 2024.
