Description

The Amethyst dart is a Ranged throwing weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is a deadly dart with an amethyst tip. You need at least 50 Ranged to wield it. This is a members only item, and it is tradeable and stackable with no weight.

Amethyst darts hit hard for their size. They have a +28 Ranged strength bonus, which is +2 higher than rune darts. Only dragon darts are stronger. They are also fast. Attack speed is 1.8 seconds on Accurate and Longrange styles, and 1.2 seconds on Rapid. Range is 3 tiles, or 5 tiles on Longrange. Accurate style gives a +3 Ranged boost, and Longrange gives a +3 Defence boost.

These darts are one-handed, so you can hold a shield or god book at the same time for extra protection. They can also be poisoned for more damage over time.

Players can make them with skills too. Fletching amethyst darts needs level 90 Fletching. Combining 10 amethyst dart tips with 10 feathers gives 210 Fletching experience. Crafting the tips from amethyst gives 8 tips and 60 Crafting experience per mineral.
