Description
The Amulet of defence (t) is a trimmed version of the amulet of defence in Old School RuneScape. It is a rare reward from beginner Treasure Trails. Players can find it in a beginner reward casket at a rate of 1 in 360. The amulet is shaped like a shield and is described as an enchanted emerald amulet of protection.
This amulet gives +7 to all defence bonuses. That covers stab, slash, crush, magic, and ranged defence. It has no attack bonuses. It fits in the neck slot, weighs 0.01 kg, and is a free-to-play item. It is also tradeable.
The amulet works well when a player expects to take more damage than they deal. Good examples are skilling in the Wilderness or playing Pyramid Plunder. The trimmed look also makes it a nice pick for players who want a rare cosmetic item.
Players can store the amulet in the treasure chest of a costume room. This works by opening the beginner clue tier interface first, or by using the amulet on an open treasure chest.
