Description

The Ancient hilt is a rare drop from Nex, the level 1001 boss in the God Wars Dungeon in Old School RuneScape. Nex drops the hilt at a rate of 1 in 516. The hilt shows the symbol of Zaros. Nex ordered it to be made after she escaped from the Ancient Prison. The weapon was never finished, because the four armies of the gods joined forces and locked Nex away again.

The Ancient hilt has one main use. Attach it to a completed godsword blade to make the ancient godsword. You can make the blade by joining the three Godsword shards.

This is a members-only item. It is tradeable, so players can buy and sell it. It cannot be equipped on its own, and it does not stack. It weighs 2.5 kg and has the item ID 26370.

Players want the Ancient hilt because it is the key part of the ancient godsword. Getting one from Nex takes many kills, so buying the hilt is a fast way to finish the sword without long boss grinds.
