Buy OSRS Godsword blade
Description
The Godsword blade is the main part of a godsword in Old School RuneScape. It is made by smithing Godsword shards 1, 2, and 3 together at an anvil. This needs level 80 Smithing and gives 200 Smithing XP in total.
The blade is not a full weapon on its own. To wield it, a player must attach one of the five godsword hilts from the God Wars Dungeon. These are the Armadyl, Bandos, Saradomin, Zamorak, and Ancient hilts. Hilts can be added or removed at any time and need no stats to attach.
Every godsword has the same stats no matter which hilt is used. Each one requires 75 Attack to wield. Godswords are two-handed swords with a +132 slash bonus, a +132 strength bonus, and a +8 prayer bonus. Only the Soulreaper axe has a higher slash bonus. The hilt is what gives each godsword its own special attack.
The blade weighs 7.5 kg. It can also be used in place of a knife to slice bananas, even without a hilt. This blade is the key step for any player who wants to build one of the strongest melee weapons in the game.
