Description

The Ancient platebody is a trimmed rune platebody in Old School RuneScape. It shows the colors of Zaros, a long-forgotten god. It gives the same stats as a rune platebody, plus a +1 Prayer bonus.

To wear it, a player needs 40 Defence and must finish the Dragon Slayer I quest. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill. It only comes as a reward from hard Treasure Trails, which makes it a rare and stylish pick for players who want a unique look.

Its defence bonuses are strong: +82 Stab, +80 Slash, +72 Crush, and +80 Ranged, with -6 Magic. Its attack bonuses are +0 Stab, +0 Slash, +0 Crush, -30 Magic, and -15 Ranged. The item weighs 9.979 kg.

The platebody can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the ancient armour set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. The item became available to free-to-play players on 7 April 2016, so both free and member players can wear it.
