Description
The Araxyte venom sac is an item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from araxytes. The sac is stackable and weighs nothing, so a big pile only takes one spot in your inventory.
You can eat a sac to cure poison and venom right away. It also gives you poison immunity for 11.7 minutes and venom immunity for up to 18 seconds. Eating one deals 4 venom damage to you one time, and this damage can kill you, so watch your health. Eating a sac counts as food, so it can be combo eaten with karambwans. It does add a short attack delay of 3 ticks.
The sac is also used in Herblore. At level 94 Herblore, one sac upgrades one dose of anti-venom+ into a dose of extended anti-venom+. Each dose made gives 20 Herblore experience.
Players like these sacs for long trips where poison is a threat, such as Dagannoth Kings tasks. A stack of sacs works as backup protection when anti-venom runs out. The item has ID 29784 and a Grand Exchange buy limit of 11,000 every 4 hours.
