Description
The Armadyl platebody is a rune platebody in the colours of Armadyl. It is a rare reward from hard Treasure Trails in Old School RuneScape. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so clue scrolls are the only way it enters the game. It is tradeable on the Grand Exchange.
This platebody has the same defence stats as a normal rune platebody. It gives +82 stab defence, +80 slash defence, +72 crush defence, and +80 ranged defence. It also adds a +1 prayer bonus, which a normal rune platebody does not have.
The platebody has one more special perk. When you wear it in the God Wars Dungeon, followers of Armadyl will not attack you. This makes it a handy choice for trips into that area.
To wear the Armadyl platebody, you need 40 Defence and you must finish the Dragon Slayer I quest. You can store it in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the Armadyl rune armour set. It is a solid pick for players who want rune armour with extra style and a useful prayer boost.
