Description

Axeman's Folly is an ale in Old School RuneScape. When you drink it, it restores 1 Hitpoint and boosts your Woodcutting level by 1 for a short time. The trade off is that it lowers your Attack and Strength by 3. This makes it a handy drink when you need a small Woodcutting boost, such as meeting a quest requirement that is just above your level.

Players can brew this ale with level 49 Cooking, which gives 413 experience. The recipe uses 1 oak root, 2 buckets of water, 2 lots of barley malt, and a pot of ale yeast. Each batch has a small chance to turn into the stronger version, called Axeman's Folly (m). Adding "the stuff" to the vat raises that chance from 5% to 64%.

Axeman's Folly is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and carry in bulk. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 0.55 kg and its item ID is 5751. The ale was released on 11 July 2005. Buying it ready made saves you the brewing time and the wait for the vat to ferment.
