Description

The bagged dead tree is a decoration item in Old School RuneScape. You can plant it in the garden of your player-owned house. To plant it, you need a Construction level of 5 or higher and a filled watering can in your inventory. Planting it gives 31 experience in both Construction and Farming.

This tree is only for looks. You cannot cut it down to get logs. Even though it is called a dead tree, the seedling is green, and it can be planted and grown.

The bagged dead tree has a second use. You can combine it with two compost to build a grassland habitat in the habitat space of an outdoor menagerie. This needs a Construction level of 37 and gives 37 Construction experience. You will need a filled watering can for this build too.

In the game, this item can be bought from the Garden supplier in Falador or the Farming Guild. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 10 kg. It is a simple and useful item for players who want to train Construction or decorate their house.
