Description
The watering can is a Farming tool in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to water allotment, flower, and hops patches. It also waters seedlings so they can grow into saplings. Watering a patch lowers the chance of disease at the end of that growth cycle. The plant goes back to the normal disease rate in the next cycle unless it gets watered again.
Each watering can holds eight doses of water. It can be refilled at any water supply. Players can also fill it by using a bucket of water, bowl of water, or jug of water on it, or by casting the Humidify spell. A vial of water can fill one of those containers first, then fill the can.
A watering can with water in it has one more use. It can put out the flame walls in the Chambers of Xeric.
This is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 0.1 kg. Players who want more water per trip can look at Gricoller's can, an untradeable Tithe Farm reward that holds 1,000 charges.
