You need level 75 Construction to plant this tree. You also need a filled watering can in your inventory. If your level is a bit low, boosts can help. Tea made on teak shelves 2 in your house gives a +3 boost, so you can plant it at level 72. A spicy stew with orange spice can give a +5 boost, so you can plant it at level 70. The crystal saw boost does not work for this tree.

This tree is only for show. You cannot cut it down for logs. It is a fun way to gain Construction and Farming experience while making your house garden stand out.
