Description

The Bale of flax is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a tightly bound bundle of flax from the Varlamore region. Players get it as common loot from rummaging through vale offerings in the Vale Totems minigame.

Each bale unpacks into 25 unnoted flax. Unpacking needs at least 25 empty inventory spaces. With the bank open, players can unpack all bales in their inventory straight to the bank.

Bales of flax work well with the bow string spool. Players can spin flax fast at a spinning wheel or with the Spin Flax spell. With a fully upgraded spool, the Seers' Village spinning wheel can spin about 40 bowstrings per minute if the medium Kandarin Diary is done. Players can also train Crafting and Magic during Rooftop Agility Courses by bringing bales, a bow string spool, and a rune pouch with runes for Spin Flax.

The Bale of flax is tradeable and stackable. It cannot be equipped or noted, and it weighs nothing. This makes it easy to carry in large amounts. It is a smart pick for players who want fast Crafting and Magic training in OSRS.
