Description

Belle's folly is a one-handed stab weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is a well balanced blade adorned with gold. You need 65 Attack to wield it.

The weapon works like a stab version of the zombie axe. It gives +100 stab attack, +78 slash attack, and a +102 strength bonus. It also has the highest stab and slash defence bonuses of any one-handed weapon, with +20 stab defence and +15 slash defence. It swings once every 3 seconds and hits targets one tile away.

You can fight with four styles. Stab is accurate and boosts Attack. Lunge and Slash are aggressive and boost Strength. Block is defensive and boosts Defence.

The weapon starts as Belle's folly (tarnished), a drop from the Shellbane Gryphon. It becomes Belle's folly at the polishing wheel in the Giants' Foundry. That step needs 70 Smithing and the quest Sleeping Giants. Buying the finished blade skips all of that work.

Belle's folly is tradeable, noteable, and weighs 1.36 kg. It uses the same attack animation as the Ghrazi rapier. It is a strong pick for players who want a fast stab weapon with solid defence.
