Description

The black dagger is a fast one-handed weapon in Old School RuneScape. You need an Attack level of 10 to wield it. It is a bit more accurate than the steel dagger, so it is a nice step up for new fighters. It works for both members and free players.

This dagger gives a +10 stab bonus, a +5 slash bonus, and a +7 strength bonus. It attacks every 2.4 seconds, which makes it quick in a fight. You can pick from four combat styles: stab, lunge, slash, and block. Each style trains a different skill.

Like most daggers, the black dagger can be poisoned. You can use weapon poison, weapon poison(+), or weapon poison(++) on it. Poison gives you an extra edge in combat because it deals more damage over time.

You cannot make this dagger with the Smithing skill, since black gear cannot be smithed from raw materials. That makes buying it a simple way to get one. The black dagger is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, and it weighs only 0.453 kg, so it is easy to carry.
