Description

The Black kiteshield (g) is a gold-trimmed black kiteshield in Old School RuneScape. It is part of the black gold-trimmed armour set and comes as a reward from easy Treasure Trails clue scrolls. You need level 10 Defence to wear it.

This shield has almost the same stats as a normal black kiteshield. It gives +17 Stab, +19 Slash, +18 Crush, and +18 Ranged defence, with -1 Magic defence. Its attack bonuses are -8 Magic and -2 Ranged. The -2 Ranged bonus is one point better than the plain black kiteshield, which has -3.

The gold trim makes it a nice pick for players who want a low level shield with extra style. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so clue scrolls are the source. The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, and it weighs 5.443 kg.

You can store it in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the black gold-trimmed set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. The shield was released on 5 May 2004 and has item ID 2597.
