Description

The Black shield (h2) is a heraldic shield in Old School RuneScape. It is a black kiteshield with a special design painted on the front. Players get this shield as a reward from easy Treasure Trails clue scrolls. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill.

This shield has the same bonuses as a regular Black kiteshield. It gives +17 Stab defence, +19 Slash defence, +18 Crush defence, and +18 Ranged defence. It has a -1 Magic defence bonus. You need level 10 Defence to equip it.

The Black shield (h2) works well for low level players who want solid defence with a unique look. The heraldic design sets it apart from plain shields, so it is a good pick for players who care about style.

This shield is available to free-to-play players. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, but it does not stack. You can also store it in the treasure chest of a costume room in your player-owned house. It was released on 20 February 2006.
