This shield gives strong defence bonuses. It has +53 stab, +55 slash, +73 crush, +2 magic, and +52 ranged defence. It also gives a +3 prayer bonus. Its crush defence is one point higher than a fully charged dragonfire shield.

The blessed spirit shield has no negative attack bonuses. This makes it a solid pick for ranged and magic players who want protection without losing accuracy. Melee players like it too because of its high defence and prayer bonus. It works well for slayer tasks, especially against monsters that attack with crush.
