Description
The Spectral sigil is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from the Corporeal Beast, a level 785 boss, at a rate of 1 in 1,365. It is a members item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be worn or stacked.
The sigil has one main use. Players attach it to a blessed spirit shield to make a spectral spirit shield. This takes level 90 Prayer and level 85 Smithing. The sigil is used on an anvil with a hammer and a blessed spirit shield in the inventory. This gives 1,800 Smithing experience. Players who do not have these levels can pay Abbot Langley 1,500,000 coins to attach it for them.
The spectral spirit shield is worth making. It has a magic defence bonus of +30, the highest of any shield in the game. It also cuts the effect of most Prayer draining attacks outside of PvP by 50%. This makes it a strong pick for fights like Cerberus, Nex, and K'ril Tsutsaroth. The Spectral sigil is the key part needed to get this shield.
