Description

The Blood moon helm is a melee helmet in Old School RuneScape. You need level 75 Strength and 50 Defence to wear it. It comes from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli. This is a members only item, and you can trade it with other players.

The helm gives strong defence. It has +20 Stab, +31 Slash, +34 Crush, +7 Magic, and +29 Ranged defence bonuses. It also adds +4 Strength, which helps you hit harder in melee combat.

Wear it with the full blood moon armour set to get the Bloodrager set effect. With this effect, the dual macuahuitl has a 33% chance to hit one tick sooner after a successful hit. The weapon's special attack makes the effect happen every time.

Like all Moon equipment, the helm degrades in combat. It starts with 3,000 charges and loses one charge every 54 seconds of fighting. That gives you 45 hours of combat before it breaks. An NPC like Bob or Dunstan can repair it for 1,500,000 coins. You can also fix it at an armour stand for less. Each Smithing level cuts 7,500 coins off the price, so it costs 757,500 coins at level 99.
