Description
The blue feather is a Hunter item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from the Cerulean twitch, a bird found in the Rellekka Hunter area. Catching one needs level 11 Hunter and at least one bird snare. Each catch gives 5 to 10 blue feathers.
Blue feathers work with the Fletching skill. They can be used in place of regular white feathers when making arrows. The finished arrows still come out with white feathers and work like normal arrows. This makes blue feathers a handy supply for players training Fletching.
Blue feathers cannot be used for fly fishing, so they are best saved for Fletching. Players who do not want to fletch with them can sell them to the Varrock Fancy Clothes Store for 6 coins each.
Buying blue feathers saves time for players who do not want to train Hunter or camp the Rellekka area for bird drops. It is a simple way to stock up on Fletching supplies and keep arrow making going without a break.
