Description

The Blue moon armour set is a magic gear set in Old School RuneScape. It comes with four parts: the Blue moon helm, chestplate, tassets, and spear. You need level 75 Magic and 50 Defence to wear it. This set is members only and tradeable.

The helm, chestplate, and tassets each give a 1% Magic damage bonus. That adds up to 3% in total. The full set also gives strong bonuses, like +88 Magic attack, +70 Stab attack, +77 Strength, and +8% Prayer.

The set has a special effect called Frostweaver. After you cast a spell that binds, freezes, or roots a target, the Blue moon spear has a chance to strike with an instant melee attack. Grasp spells from the Arceuus spellbook give a 50% chance. Bind and Ice spells give a 20% chance. This makes the set great for mixing magic and melee. It works well in PvP fights and against monsters with low melee and magic defence.

The armour degrades after 45 hours of combat and can be repaired by an NPC or at an armour stand. Higher Smithing levels make repairs cheaper.
