Description
The Blue moon helm is a magic helmet in Old School RuneScape. You need level 75 Magic and 50 Defence to wear it. It comes from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli at a rate of 1 in 224. It is a members only item, and it can be traded.
The helm gives a +6 Magic attack bonus, a +1% Magic damage bonus, and a +3 Prayer bonus. For defence, it gives +10 against Magic and +6 against Ranged.
Wear it with the full Blue Moon armour set to get the Frostweaver set effect. After you cast a bind spell, the Blue Moon spear has a 20% chance to make its next melee attack with no action delay. You can turn on this attack in the combat options menu so it happens on its own.
Like other Moon armour, the helm degrades over time. It starts with 3000 charges and lasts 45 hours of combat. An NPC like Bob or Dunstan can repair it for 1,500,000 coins when fully broken. Repairing it at an armour stand costs less, down to 757,500 coins at level 99 Smithing.
