Description

The Blue moon chestplate (broken) is the fully degraded form of the blue moon chestplate in Old School RuneScape. In this state it cannot be worn. It must be repaired first. An NPC such as Bob or Dunstan can fix it for 1,500,000 coins. Players can also repair it at an armour stand for less. Each Smithing level cuts the price by 7,500 coins, so the cost drops to 757,500 coins at level 99.

Once repaired, the chestplate needs level 75 Magic and 50 Defence to equip. It gives a +30 Magic attack bonus, +51 Magic defence, +28 Ranged defence, +2 Prayer, and +1% Magic damage. A repaired chestplate holds 3,000 charges and loses 1 charge every 54 seconds in combat. That means it lasts 45 hours of nonstop fighting before it breaks again.

Wearing the full blue moon armour set with the Blue moon spear unlocks the Frostweaver set effect. After casting a bind spell, the spear has a 20% chance for its next melee attack to skip action delays. This item is members only, tradeable, and noteable. It weighs 3.175 kg and comes from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli in Varlamore.
