Description
Blue spiky vambraces are hand slot armour in Old School RuneScape. They are made from blue dragonhide vambraces with kebbit claws added to them. The claws give the vambraces a melee strength bonus of +2, which normal blue dragonhide vambraces do not have.
These vambraces give a +9 Ranged attack bonus and small defence bonuses. They also lower Magic attack by 10. You need level 50 Ranged to wear them. They are members only, and they are light at 0.283 kg.
The melee strength bonus makes them useful for players who fight with both Ranged and melee. Combat pures can also wear them, since they only need a Ranged level and no Defence level to equip.
Players can make these vambraces with level 32 Crafting. Using one kebbit claw on a pair of blue dragonhide vambraces gives 6 Crafting experience. The item is tradeable and can be noted, so it is easy to store or sell.
Blue spiky vambraces came out on 21 November 2006. They were first called Blue spiky vambs, and the name changed to Blue spiky vambraces in April 2020.
