Description
Blue dragonhide is a raw hide in Old School RuneScape. It drops every time a player kills a blue dragon. Brutal blue dragons drop two hides, and Vorkath drops two after his quest, with a chance of 25 to 30 noted hides. The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy and sell in bulk.
Players want blue dragonhide for Crafting training. Take the hides to a tanner and pay 20 coins each to turn them into blue dragon leather. Sbott in Canifis charges 45 coins. Tanners work in Al Kharid, the Ranging Guild, Forthos Dungeon, Canifis, the Kebos Lowlands, Auburnvale, and the Crafting Guild. Players with level 78 Magic can use the Tan Leather lunar spell instead. It tans 5 hides at once and gives 81 Crafting XP per cast.
Members with level 66 Crafting can craft the leather into blue dragonhide armour. For example, a blue d'hide body needs level 71 Crafting, three pieces of leather, a needle, and thread. It gives 210 XP. Buying hides in bulk saves time spent killing dragons and keeps Crafting training fast and simple.
