Description
Bottled dragonbreath is a members only item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by squeezing ten dragonfruit into a vial. The item starts out unpowered. To power it, players use it on a sulphur vent on Mount Karuulm. One vent sits right outside the bank there.
The main use for bottled dragonbreath is charging shields. Use it on a dragonfire shield or a dragonfire ward, and the shield fills to full charges right away. The bottle is used up in the process. This saves a lot of time, since charging these shields the normal way can be slow. The ancient wyvern shield cannot be charged with this item.
Powering the bottle at the sulphur vent deals 2 Hitpoints of damage unless the player wears ice gloves or smiths gloves (i). No quests are needed to make or use it.
Bottled dragonbreath is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and carry. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 0.08 kg. Its examine text reads, "Several dragonfruit were squeezed into this vial."
