Description

The bronze dagger is the most basic dagger in Old School RuneScape. It is a fast melee weapon with no level requirements, so any player can wield it. It is tradeable, noteable, and free for all players to use. Its examine text says "Short but pointy."

This dagger attacks every 2.4 seconds, which makes it one of the faster weapons in the game. It gives +4 stab, +2 slash, and +3 strength. It also has a small +1 magic bonus. Like many melee weapons, it can be poisoned. Players can train with four combat styles: Stab, Lunge, Slash, and Block.

Players can also make a bronze dagger at an anvil with one bronze bar and a hammer. This gives 12.5 Smithing experience and needs no Smithing level.

The bronze dagger is the third weapon new players get on Tutorial Island, and the first one that is not also a tool. Its small magic bonus helps during the Magic Instructor's task there. It is a simple starter weapon that fits new accounts, low level training, and players who want a piece of classic OSRS gear.
