Description

The bronze knife is the lowest level throwing knife in Old School RuneScape. It needs no Ranged level to wield, so any player can use it right away. This makes it a great pick for new players who want to start training Ranged. It is a members-only item that is tradeable, stackable, and easy to carry since it weighs nothing.

The bronze knife gives a Ranged attack bonus of +4 and a Strength bonus of +3. It is one-handed, so it can be used with a shield. Throwing knives are among the fastest weapons in the game. On the Rapid style, it attacks every 1.2 seconds. The Longrange style adds 2 tiles to its range and gives Defence experience too.

Players use bronze knives for training Ranged, player-killing, and tagging enemies for barraging. The knife can also be poisoned, with three variants: Poison, Poison+, and Poison++. Poisoned knives deal extra damage over time.

Bronze knives can be made at level 7 Smithing. One bronze bar makes 5 knives at an anvil and gives 12.5 Smithing experience. Buying them in bulk saves time and lets players skip the crafting work.
