The bruise blue snelm is a members-only helmet in Old School RuneScape. It is a round snail shell with a moody blue color. It reduces the damage you take from snails by 8. Its combat stats are close to a steel med helm, but it has no requirements to wear. Any player can put it on.
The helmet gives +7 stab, +8 slash, +6 crush, and +7 ranged defence. It has -1 magic defence. Its attack bonuses are -3 magic and -1 ranged. It weighs 2 kg.
Players make this snelm by using a chisel on a round Blamish blue shell. The shell is a 100% drop from the round shell version of the Bruise Blamish Snail. Making it needs level 15 Crafting and gives 32.5 Crafting experience.
Keep in mind that this round snelm does not work for the medium emote clue step at the Shantay Pass. Only the pointed version works for that clue. The bruise blue snelm is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, or store. It is a fun and cheap helmet with solid low-level defence.
